From my earliest school days in New Jersey, I struggled with dyslexia—until I met a teacher who changed everything. The late Jennifer Collum-Glassman helped me recognize the strengths within my challenges. She showed me that dyslexia could be a gift—fueling imagination, artistry, dexterity, and the ingenuity to express my innermost feelings through art. Her guidance gave me the confidence to trust my innate talent and pursue it.
For years, I created artwork for family and friends. Eventually, I launched my professional career as an artist.
My inspiration flows from the natural world, experienced both personally and through the eyes of those I love. The flight of birds, the majesty of trees, the beauty of flowers, the eternal waves of the sea, and the vastness of the sky continually spark my creativity.
Depending on my mood and the materials at hand, I work with a variety of elements: dimensional paintings, layered photographs, embroidery, vintage stamps, and more. Each piece is handmade, unique, and deeply personal—a contemporary reflection of nature and emotion intertwined.
